Interface at Everest Poker
For people that do not need to play on US poker sites, Everest Poker is an excellent room for those building bankrolls for the first time. I’d like to continue my Everest coverage today by talking about the software.
As I explained a couple weeks ago, the main problem with Everest’s download free poker site is the large amount of computer resources the program needs. Not everything about the software is bad, however.
There is a strict requirement for easy navigation on the best online poker sites, and no one will be disappointed with the menus on Everest. You have the choice of searching through the various games employing a tabbed menu system, or you can use the custom list to show only the exact limits that you would like to play. At least one of these options should be more than enough to suit your needs.
A major benefit of being able to play on money poker sites is the ability to multi-table. Like many of the best sites, Everest offers resizable tables, but as a bonus, you can also choose one of 4 resolutions for your tables! You can choose from 640x480, 800x600, 1024x728, and 1280x960. When you consider resizable tables and resolution choices, you have to admit that the Everest Poker download has jumped ahead of other sites in this aspect.
However, the one thing holding Everest Poker back is the memory hog issue. If they hope to compete with a Bwin Poker download, they will need to give players the option to reduce the use of graphics while playing. You can cease the chip and card animations, but it is not a lot of help.
If you would prefer to wait for Everest to change their software prior to sitting at their tables, there are numerous other sites to download. A few weeks ago I mentioned Tiger Gaming as one of your options. Whatever you choose, good luck and have fun!
